Christmas Break Road Trip 2008

On the way to Oklahoma there is this unbelievable Huge cross that a family put up for all of the weary travelers (and of course their community). It is a sight that we have stopped to enjoy on the way to and from Oklahoma over the last 3 years. This time it was just Sydney, Grant and Myself.

If you look close, the story of the day of Jesus' crucifixtion, is being told around the cross by statues of each stage......breathtaking!








It was extremely cold but we had to see the finished fountain, it was under construction for most of the 3 years. It turned out great!
This was the first time we drove around the little town of Groom. It was awesome!

The kiddos needed a potty break and we went into a grocery store and I could not resist taking pics of the very old doors and well... you see! =0)

Groom is a farm town and I LOVE this stuff!

All in all this was a good day! =0)

Weekend fun with Dad and Mom

This weekend my Dad and Mom came up to visit me. (They are in Yuma for the winter.) So on Friday they were suppose to have made it by 3pm. Wellll they took a little detour and came in at 7ish...

On Saturday, we headed out to the Tempe Art Festival. It was awesome and the crowd was large. I took photo's all day just to find out that I had forgotten to put my CF card in my camera!!!! Yep, I could not believe it either! Silly silly me! When we stood waiting for the shuttle bus to arrive and take us back to the car, I took these pictures.You could say they were laughing at me for the CF card thing...but that was BEFORE this photo! =0)It was a great day and my parents are troopers!

Then on Sunday we headed to church to see Sydney and Grant in a Christmas program. It was great and Sydney and Grant were little pros dancing and singing.Afterwards, Dad, Mom and Myself headed to a great little place in Gilbert called Joes Farmhouse Grill. I decided I wanted to do a little portrait shoot with them. Here are a few cute shots!

A trip to Redondo Beach with Daniel!

Daniel's work sent him here for a class. I was a lucky girl and got to go with him for a few days in November. Here we are!
